"TTC 2024 - Day 1-3
A little recap of the first 3 days at TERRA NT - TTC2024. I was so excited to get out on track Monday as this was going to be my FIRST EVER time riding the ZX6R I had only just purchased a few weeks prior to coming to Darwin. We didn’t actually know how the bike was going to perform and I know I have so much to learn on this bike but I LOVE IT ALREADY!!!!!! 💚
My first session out on this bike I was lapping around the 1.31 mark and by the end of today I had gotten down to 1.21 per lap 😁
When I started out on my 400 Monday I was hitting the same times I was last year so I knew I could give it some more - today I got down to 1.22 per lap.
Thanks to everyone for all the encouragement/advice along the way. It is certainly going to be some fun/close racing in both classes I am entered in.
Tomorrow we are having a day off from the bikes and heading out on the river to check out some crocodiles 🐊 relax and get myself set for kicking of qualifying and racing Friday 🏁"

 

"TTC 2024 - Day 4
Today was a day away from the track to take a breath and refocus ready for Qualifying and Race 1 tomorrow 🙌
I enjoyed my time on the Adelaide River checking out so many crocodiles 🐊 with the family. Even though today was a day away from the track - I found myself back at the track in the afternoon “my happy place” 🥳
I am riding in 2 classes tomorrow the Production 500 on my Ninja 400 and for the first time ever taking part in TTC2 - Clubman on my ZX6R and I can’t wait!!

"TERRA NT - TTC2024 - Day 5 - Qualifying and Racing!!!
This is what the week leading up is all about - getting ourselves set up for a positive qualifying and then racing.
First up was Production 500 - I was doing consistent lap times and ended up 3rd fastest for the session. So for the first race I was starting on the front row which is new for me 😬
Next up was TTC2 - clubman and unfortunately my gearbox let go and I couldn’t complete the session and that was that done for me on the 600 - it wasn’t all bad though as a fellow competitor needed a thermo fan so he could continue his racing - so he was able to borrow mine!!
Now the racing was awesome!!!! I had such a fantastic time on track with Joel from WA and in each of the 2 races I crossed the line in 2nd, but only just ✊. It seriously could have been either him or me that crossed the line 2nd it was that close - but so much fun!! 🤩
Now to change my tyres, rest and get ready for tomorrow - 2 races tomorrow and then the final race on Sunday"

"TERRA NT - TTC2024 - Day 6
After an unfortunate delay in the morning - we were out on track this afternoon. I had two races to complete and it was pretty much a carbon copy of yesterdays races, but probably a little closer Joel was coming for me hard!!!!
I was pushing the hardest I think I ever had and I got a PB 1:21.6 and finished both races again in 2nd place ✊👍

"That’s a wrap - TERRA NT - TTC24!!!!!
This is only the second time I have experienced this event but each time it is better and better!!
It was made even more awesome racing friends on and off track and I can’t wait to see them again next year, because we will definitely be back. Thank you TERRA NT for such an awesome run event.
Having the chance to battle as hard as I did with Jayden and Joel was awesome, this time last year I seriously could not get close to them.
Huge thank you to my family to one driving all my gear up, for their awesome work in the pits all weekend for both myself and Grandad (Andrew Bannerman) who I even got to lap in one race 😂
Thank you to all my friends, family supporters back home that were always sending their thoughts and well wishes and checking in to see how I was doing it means so much to me.
Can’t wait till next year already!!!!"
