Event Description:

"What a whirlwind few weeks it’s been! Racing in three different countries in just three weeks has been an incredible challenge and experience.

I returned last Monday from the Asia Talent Cup in Malaysia, and just a few days later, I was gearing up for my first Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) race, competing in the 300 class.

I arrived at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park on Thursday to help the team at Unitech Racing set up for the weekend. After getting settled in, I did a quick check on the bike with my mechanic, Chris, and Pete, who worked on the suspension. We had a good chat as a team to align our expectations for the weekend. The goal was a top-10 finish, as the bike setup needed adjustments— it was originally configured for a completely different rider, in terms of size and riding style.

Race 1 (R3 Cup): I had some grip issues, which prevented me from keeping pace with the leaders. I finished 7th.
Race 2 (SSP 300): I felt more comfortable here, posting solid lap times and finished 6th.
Race 3 (SSP 300): I got off to a great start and was battling for a podium spot. Though I got held up for a bit, I managed to catch up and finished 5th.
Race 4 (R3 Cup): Unfortunately, I faced the same tyre issues as Race 1, which hindered my pace again. I ended the race in 6th.

Despite the challenges, I’m grateful for the support from ECS Project Logistics—my primary sponsor for the round and all my ATC rounds. A massive thank you to the whole Unitech Racing team, especially Pete, Donna, and my mechanic Chris. Big shout-out to my left-hand man Clauss as well for helping me improve throughout the weekend.

Also thanks to the Lynch family for hosting me, I felt completely at home.

I started with a lap time of 2:13 and ended the weekend with a new personal best of 2:09.1.
